Exports a complete handoff bundle for editorial / production:

Timeline exports (FCP7 / OTIO bundles) also write a schema-valid *.edit-decisions.json — shot order, cuts, media/audio refs, and the governed render runtime — a portable contract any future renderer or external reviewer can consume.
The .skel file itself is an open, published spec. Rendering stays external by design: Genlock hands off to your NLE.
